- 2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 pkg. beef bacon
Directions

1Fry bacon in frying pan and break into very small pieces. Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder; mix thoroughly.

3Add milk, stirring slowly.

4Add eggs and blend well.

5Melt butter in the baking pan and pour into cornmeal batter and mix well.

6Add the bacon pieces and stir very well.

7Pour the batter mix into the baking pan and cook for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
