- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2-1/2 cups cold water
- 1 can (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained, cut up
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 3/4 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking barley, uncooked
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Directions

1Brown meat in large saucepan; drain.

2Stir in all remaining ingredients except VELVEETA.

3Bring to boil; cover.
