  • garlic
  • salt and pepper

  • 1/3 bottle A.1. sauce
  • 1/3 bottle ketchup
  • a little allspice
  • onion
  • carrot
  • celery
  • 1/2 c. water

    Rub brisket with garlic.

    Add salt, pepper and ginger.

    Cover with A.1. sauce and ketchup.

    Sprinkle allspice on the top.

    Place around brisket the onion, carrot and celery.

    Add water.

    Cover with foil.

    Cook at 300° for about 3 hours for 4 pounds of beef.
