- 1 tsp. butter or margarine
- 4 or 5 c. coarsely shredded cabbage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 c. thinly sliced potatoes
- 1 tsp. caraway seed
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Melt butter in large skillet.

2Add cabbage and onion, mixing well.

3Arrange potatoes over cabbage; sprinkle with caraway seed. Crumble ground beef over potatoes; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour tomato sauce over ground beef.

4Cover skillet and cook over low heat 30 to 35 minutes or until meat is done.
