Beef Dressing Casserole

  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 12 slices dry bread, cut into cubes
  • 2 cans mushroom soup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Mix onion, celery, salt, poultry seasoning and cubed bread. Blend one can mushroom soup with 1 cup milk; mix gently with bread mixture.

    Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.

    Mix meat, mustard, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

    Add bread mixture; mix well. Turn into 13 x 9 baking pan.

    Spread 1 can undiluted mushroom soup on top.
