- 2 medium-large acorn squash
- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1/4 c. crushed potato chips
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
Directions

1Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds.

2Bake, cut side down, in shallow pan at 350° for 45 minutes or until tender.

3Fry diced bacon.

4Add beef, onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.

5Cook until beef is browned.

6Pour off excess fat.

7Remove squash from shells (reserve shells).

8In small mixing bowl, whip squash with 1/2 teaspoon salt; add milk as needed to make mixture fluffy.

9Combine with beef mixture.

10Return to squash shells.

11Top with crushed potato chips.

12Continue baking at 350° for 15 minutes.
