  • 1 large London broil
  • 3 cans Franco-American beef gravy
  • 1/2 can beer (not Bud, it's bitter)
  • ketchup to taste (maybe 1 1/2 Tbsp.)
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 whole onion
  • garlic to taste
  • any veggie you would add to a pot roast, i.e., potatoes, carrots, peppers, onions, whatever

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Slice beef (uncooked) about 1/2-inch thick. Arrange in large roaster.

    Combine all ingredients except the veggies.

    Pour over beef.

    Seal with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Cook in oven for 2 hours.
