- 1 1/2 lb. beef brisket
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Freeze brisket overnight.

2Let it thaw a bit, then slice thinly against the grain. Mix the liquids and seasonings in a container and then add the strips of meat.

3Shake or turn the container to coat all the strips thoroughly.

4Marinate overnight. Put meat strips on a rack in the oven, set at its lowest temperature (warm for a gas oven, or lowest electric setting).

5Be sure to use a drip pan or foil.

6Check after about 5 hours of baking, but figure that it will take 6 or 7 hours to be completely done.

7Take out before becoming too tough.
