- 1 1/2 lb. sirloin
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 small clove garlic, mashed
- 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sour cream
Directions

1Cut beef across grain into strips.

2Cook and stir beef in margarine in 10-inch skillet over low heat until brown.

3Reserve 1/3 cup of broth, stir in remaining broth, catsup, salt and garlic into skillet.

4Heat to boiling and reduce heat.

5Cover and simmer until beef is tender, 45 minutes.

6Stir in mushrooms and onion. Cover and simmer until onion is tender.

7Shake reserved broth and the flour in a tightly covered container.

8Gradually stir into beef mixture.

9Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.

10Boil and stir 1 minute.

11Reduce heat, stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over noodles or rice.
