- 1/3 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomato (not oil packed)
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless sirloin steaks, about 1/2 inch thick
- 4 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta
- 1 lb asparagus spear
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups canned nonfat beef broth
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil or 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
Directions

1Cook pasta according to directions.

2Pour hot water over dried tomatoes in a small bowl and let sit about 15 minutes.

3Drain and choop; set aside.

4Trim all fat from beef.

5Cut beef into 2 inch strips, then cut strips into 1/8 inch slivers.

6Spray nonstick skillet with Pam; heat over medium heat.

7Cook asparagus and onions in skillet.

8Add beef slivers to skillet and cook about 2 minutes or until done.

9Return asparagus mixture to skillet and stir in remaining broth and all other ingredients except cheese.

10Heat through, stirring constantly.

11Sprinkle with cheese.
