- 2 c. bread flour or all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 envelope quick rise yeast
- 1 c. beer
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 egg
Directions

1Coat inside of loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

2Combine flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt and yeast in large bowl. Combine beer, butter and molasses in small saucepan.

3Heat to very warm (125° to 135°).

4Pour into flour mixture; add egg.

5Mix at low speed to blend.

6Then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping down side of bowl as necessary.

7Scrape dough down from sides, forming one mass; lightly oil top of batter.

8Cover and let rise in warm place for 30 minutes.
