- 10 slices day-old cubed rye or pumpernickel
- 1 1/2 c. apple cider
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 lb. peeled, sliced apples
- 1/4 c. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
Directions

1Mix bread with enough cider to moisten and soften.

2Combine cinnamon, sugar and raisins in buttered 2-quart casserole.

3Cover with layer of bread cubes.

4Dot top with margarine.

5Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
