- 1 1/2 cups rice
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup honey (or to taste)
- water
Directions

1Rinse rice in cold water.

2Bring 3 cups water to a boil; add rice; cover.

3Boil the rice in a saucepan for 3 minutes over high heat.

4Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking, another 6 minutes.

5Add raisins and continue cooking over low heat for 3 minutes.

6Remove from heat and let stand for15 minutes. DO NOT OPEN LID.

7Stir rice and sweeten with honey to taste.

8Serve warm with a little milk or cream.
