- 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 2 pkg. quick-rise yeast
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 1/2 c. flour
- soft margarine
- sugar
- cinnamon
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water for 3 minutes.

2Add cake mix, 1 cup flour, eggs, oil and salt.

3Beat until bubbly.

4Add balance of flour to make soft dough.

5Knead lightly.

6Let rise until double. Roll out about 1/4-inch thick (it's easier if dough is divided in half).

7Spread with margarine, sugar and cinnamon.

8Raisins may be added, too.

9Roll as jelly roll and cut.

10Raise until double. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

11Ice while warm.

12Makes about 24 that stay soft and are wonderful served warm.
