- 6 Tbsp. shortening
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2Sift flour.

3Cut in shortening.

4Add milk and stir.

5Roll out on floured sheet.

6Knead 5 to 6 times. Roll with rolling pin until it's 1/4-inch thick.

7Cut out biscuits and brush tops with butter.

8Bake for 6 to 7 minutes.

9Makes approximately 20 biscuits.
