Ingredients
- 2 12 quarts blackberries
- 2 lemons, juice of
- 5 cups sugar
- 3 ounces liquid pectin
Directions

1Clean and wash the berries.

2Place in a container and crush completely.

3Heat the mixture till the juice approaches boiling.

4Allow the juice to simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes.

5Remove from heat and pour mixture into a jelly bag.

6Recover 3 cups of the juice and place into a deep saucepan.

7Add the juice of 2 lemons and pectin.

8Stir well.

9Add 5 cups of granulated sugar and mix well.

10Next place the mixture over a high heat and bring to a boil for 1 full minute, stirring constantly.

11Remove from heat, skim off the foam and pour juice into hot sterile jelly glasses.

12Process in a hot water bath 5 minutes.
