- 4 c. fresh blackberries, rinsed
- 1 c. white grape juice
- 1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. sugar or to taste
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 1 c. plain yogurt
- 1 c. light sour cream
Directions

1Combine first seven ingredients in medium saucepan.

2Bring to boil, cover, lower heat and simmer 10 minutes.

3Set aside to cool, 1/2 hour.

4Press mixture through fine mesh strainer.

5Chill until ready to use.

6Then combine yogurt, sour cream and blackberry puree until smooth and silky.

7Garnish with reserved berries or top with Creme Fraiche.
