  • 1 pound Pasta (spaghetti)
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Lemons, Juiced
  • 1/4 cups Olive Oil
  • 1 Large Bunch Arugula
  • 1 Handful Fresh Basil
  • 2 cups Tomatoes (cherry Or Chopped Into Bite Size Pieces)
  • Kosher Salt And Cracked Black Pepper

Directions

    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

    While waiting for it to come to a boil, put the bacon on to fry over medium heat.

    Cook the bacon until crisp, and then set aside to drain on a paper towel.

    (Save the pan and drippings.)

    Cook the pasta according to manufacturers directions.

    Combine the garlic, lemon juice and olive oil in a small bowl.

    Add the vinaigrette to the pan and bring to a simmer.

    Add the pasta to the pan and toss with the hot vinaigrette.

    Add the chopped bacon and the arugula, basil and cherry tomatoes to the pasta and toss.

    Season with kosher salt and black pepper and serve on a platter.

    Suggestion: Top with crab if possible.
