Boiled Chocolate Cherry Cake

- 1 (450 g) can stoneless black cherries, do not drain
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 125 g butter
- 2 1/2 cups mixed dried fruit
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup plain flour, sifted
- 1 cup self raising flour, sifted
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 beaten eggs
Directions

1Put cherries and juice,butter,sugar,dried fruit and cinnamon in large pot.

2Simmer together for 10 minutes.

3Allow to cool.

4Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

5Line a 20cm cake tin well with baking paper.

6Bake at 165 degrees celsius.

7Bake for 1 1/2 hours or till cooked.

8Cool in tin.
