- 4 lb. beef short ribs
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 crushed clove garlic
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. steak sauce
- 1/2 tsp. marjoram
- 4 peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 c. water
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water
Directions

1In a 12-inch Dutch oven, brown ribs (fat side down) for 30 minutes.

6beef broth, steak sauce, marjoram, peppercorns, bay leaf and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered, for 2 hours. Remove meat and skim fat from Dutch oven.

7Mix flour with 1/2 cup water. Stir

8into Dutch oven and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over ribs.
