- 3 c. flour
- 3 c. all-bran
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 lb. raisins
Directions

1Beat egg; add sugar and beat.

2Add corn syrup and mix well. Add buttermilk.

3Sift dry ingredients together and add to the mixture.

4Add all-bran and raisins.

5Mix well.

6Grease and flour 5 tin cans.

7Fill them about 2/3 full.

8Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.

9Serves 5 loaves, 10 slices a loaf.
