- 3 c. stale French bread soaked in water and squeezed out
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar (more if desired)
- 1/2 c. raisins (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix bread crumbs, raisins and cinnamon.

2Beat eggs; add sugar. Beat again.

3Scald milk; add egg mixture and cook until slightly thickened.

4Remove from heat; add vanilla.

5Pour over bread crumbs; mix well.

6Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
