  • 5 slices firm white bread
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • milk
  • nuts and raisins

Directions

    Break bread apart into small pieces.

    In a bowl, beat eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and sugar.

    Add the bread to egg mixture.

    Pour in enough milk to soak up the bread and mix well.

    Add desired amount of nuts and raisins; stir.

    Pour into baking dish and bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until knife inserted half way between center and edge comes out clean.
