- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 12 c. stale bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. parsley, chopped fine
- 1/4 c. celery leaves, chopped fine
- 1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/2 c. hot water
Directions

1Put 1/2 cup butter in a heavy frying pan.

2Add onions and cook over low heat until soft.

3Do not brown.

4Mix together bread crumbs, salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, parsley and celery leaves.

5Add onions and moisten with balance of butter melted in hot water.

6Mix thoroughly and stuff the bird.
