- 8 slices bread
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 lb. bacon (optional)
- 4 eggs
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- onion and green pepper (optional)
Directions

1Brown sausage and drain.

2Break bread up in a 9 x 13-inch dish, slightly greased.

3Mix 4 eggs and

41 1/2 cups milk and pour over bread.

5Add cooked sausage (bacon, onion and pepper) and 2 cups cheese.

6Cover and refrigerate overnight.

7Next day:

8Mix soup with 1/2 to 3/4 cup milk and pour over mixture.

9Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
