Ingredients

  • 6 medium peppers
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/3 c. onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 (1 lb.) can peeled tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. Minute rice
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Velveeta cheese

Directions

    Cut peppers in half; clean and boil until the color changes. Combine all other ingredients, except cheese.

    Simmer for 15 minutes.

    Place pepper halves in a casserole dish.

    Place 1/2 slice of cheese in each pepper and fill with meat mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Put 1/2 slice of cheese on each pepper and allow it to melt.

    To reheat, add another 1/2 slice of cheese.
