- 12 slices bread
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 lb. diced ham
- 4 oz. can chopped green chillies
- 5 large eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
Directions

1Arrange 6 slices of bread in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Cover with cheese, ham, chillies and remaining bread.

3Beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard.

4Pour over bread and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight.

5Bake at 325° for 1 hour or until custard is set in center.
