Breakfast Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cup cold, cooked white rice
  • 1/2 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 3 each eggs, lightly scrambled
  • 2 each green onions, diced
  • 1 tbsp Kikkoman soy sauce

Directions

    Set stove burner on medium-high.

    In large skillet, wok, or dutch oven brown the sausage.

    Drain, reserving fat.

    In same skillet, cook eggs until just set.

    Remove.

    In same skillet, add 2 tablespoons pork fat(if you don't have enough, you can supplement with butter or vegetable oil).

    Heat fat until hot and add rice.

    Cook rice until lightly brown, turning occasionally.

    When rice is browned: add sausage, eggs, diced green onions, and soy sauce.

    Mix well.

    Remove from heat.

    Serve immediately.

    Season individual servings with additional soy sauce if needed.
