Broccoli Soup

  • 4 c. water
  • 1/2 lb. chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 c. onions
  • 1 1/3 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 tsp. Accent
  • 1/2 tsp. white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. American cheese
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. water
  • 2/3 c. whole milk
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk

Directions

    Cook broccoli and onions in water until tender (about 5 minutes).

    Add seasonings, butter and cheese.

    Cook until melted. Combine 2/3 cup water and flour, then add to soup and stir briskly. Cook until thickened.

    Turn on low and add both milks.
