Ingredients
- 2 1/2 to 4 lb. chuck steak, trimmed
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. sour cream (optional)
Directions

1Pierce both sides of steak, or steaks, well with fork.

2Place in shallow pan.

3Combine tomato sauce, vinegar, horseradish, sugar, salt and pepper.

4Pour over steak.

5Refrigerate overnight. Broil steak to desired doneness.

6If desired, simmer remaining marinade in saucepan 3 minutes.

7Remove from heat.
-
8Add a little marinade to the sour cream, then fold the sour cream into marinade.

9Heat slowly.
-
10Serve over steak.
