  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa

Directions

    Sift together sugar and flour; set aside.

    Bring oleo, cocoa and water to a boil.

    Add soda to buttermilk and combine with hot mixture.

    Pour in the dry ingredients.

    Stir in eggs and vanilla. Bake on greased and floured cookie sheet at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Frost while hot.
