- 3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl.

2Add eggs; beat well with spoon.

3Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

4Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Spread in greased 8-inch square pan or 9 x 12-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edges of pan.

6Cool.

7Cut into squares.
