Ingredients
- 8 slices white bread, cubed
- 3/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 lb. bulk sausage, browned (Jimmy Dean, hot)
- 1 can diced green chilies
- 8 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1/3 can water
Directions

1Layer bread, sausage and cheese into 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Beat together eggs, milk, salt, dry mustard, 1 can mushroom soup and water.

3Pour over casserole.

4Let set overnight or 8 hours in refrigerator.

5Bake at 325° (1 1/2 hours, covered, 1/2 hour uncovered) until center is done.

6Test with knife.

7Remove from oven and let set 10 minutes before serving.
