- 4 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 c. scalded milk
- 1 c. sugar
- enough flour to make a soft dough
- 2 c. warm water (not hot)
- 1 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Heat to boiling point.

3Add butter, sugar and salt.

4Cool.

5Dissolve yeast and water.

6When milk mixture is cool, add yeast.

7Mix well and add enough flour to make soft, not sticky, dough.

8Put in greased bowl and grease top of dough. Cover with damp cloth.

9Let rise until doubled.

10Punch down.

11Make into rolls, coffee cakes, buns, etc.

12Let rise until double and bake at 375°.
