  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Add flour gradually; beat in buttermilk, then vanilla and nutmeg.

    Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until pie is golden brown.

    Makes one (10-inch) pie.
