- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of nutmeg
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Add flour gradually; beat in buttermilk, then vanilla and nutmeg.

4Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until pie is golden brown.

5Makes one (10-inch) pie.
