Ingredients

  • 300 grams chicken fillets
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp crushed ginger
  • 2 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 20 ml cashew paste
  • 150 ml tomatoes
  • 125 ml cream

Directions

    Heat up a little oil in a frying pan

    Toast the mustard seeds and cinnamon

    Then add the chopped onion and cumin seeds

    When the onion is soft and golden add the turmeric, chilli powder and ground corriander

    Add the garlic and ginger paste and stir in well

    Add the chopped tomatoes and cashew paste

    Bring to a simmer and cook for 3 minutes

    Remove from the heat and blend

    Return to the heat and add the chicken fillets

    Cook for 5-7 minutes

    Season with salt

    Pour in the cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes
