- 1 lb. carrots, trimmed and scrubbed
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
Directions

1Cut the carrots into very thin slices.

2Place them in small skillet and add salt and pepper to taste.

3Add sugar, water and butter.

4Cover the pan and cook over medium heat, shaking the skillet occasionally.

5Cook about 8 minutes until the carrots are tender, the liquid has disappeared and the carrots are slightly glazed.

6Take care they do not burn.

7Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
