  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. 1
    Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil. Blend in mixing bowl the next 3 ingredients and then add hot mixture. Slightly beat the remaining ingredients into the above mixture. Use a large cake roll pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.
