- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Let buttermilk come to room temperature.

2Then dissolve yeast in it.

3Cream butter and sugar together.

4Sift dry ingredients together and blend smoothly.

5Mix liquid into flour mixture and knead lightly.

6Roll out dough on lightly floured board.

7Shape like Parker House roll or any shape desired.

8Place on greased baking sheet.
-
9Set in warm place to rise until light for 1 1/2 hours or more if needed.

10Bake in hot 425° oven until well browned and done, approximately 20 minutes.

11Yields about 36 rolls.
