- 1 medium butternut squash
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/3 c. water
Directions

1Peel squash and scoop out seeds.

2Cut into 2-inch chunks. Place in a heavy saucepan and add remaining ingredients.

3Cook over medium heat until squash is soft.

4Stir often.

5Remove from heat and beat with an electric mixer to blend, like mashing mashed potatoes.
