- 1/2 c. butter (no substitute)
- 2 Tbsp. boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Boil together sugar, syrup, butter and water until brittle stage (300°).

2Add vinegar and stir hard.

3Pour into a buttered pan and mark in squares with a knife when slightly cool and not hard.
