- 1/2 head cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Cook cabbage until tender. Drain well. In a saucepan, melt butter. Add flour, milk and salt, stirring until thickened.

2Add cabbage and Cheddar cheese.

3Pour into a buttered casserole and top with the crumbs which have been mixed with the melted butter. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until slightly browned on top.
