Cabbage Casserole

- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (8 oz.) processed cheese, cubed
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook cabbage in boiling salted water until tender, drain. Saute onion in 5 tablespoons butter until tender, add soup and mix.

2Add cheese, heat and stir until melted.

3Remove.

4Stir in cabbage, salt and pepper in ungreased 2-quart baking dish.

5Melt butter.

7and stir crumbs in butter until browned, sprinkling over casserole.

8Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
