Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 medium head cabbage
- 1 lb. ground beef (lean)
- 1/4 c. green onion, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1/4 c. bread crumbs
- any seasoning (red pepper, black pepper, salt or you can use all of these seasonings)
- small amount of red hot pepper sauce (if desired)
Directions

1Cut cabbage as you would to smother and cook in salted water until tender but still green.

2Drain and reserve the liquid.

3Cook ground beef with onions, garlic and other seasonings until brown. Mix cabbage with the meat, adding mushroom soup, green onions and cooked rice.

4Before you think it is too dry, you can then add some of the liquid from the cooked cabbage.

5Pour into greased baking dish.

6Top with crumbs and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 300°.
