Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 small can tomato sauce
Directions

1Combine preceding ingredients and set aside.

2Drop 8 to 10 cabbage leaves in hot water to wilt.

3Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.

4Fold over and fasten with toothpicks.

5Place cabbage rolls in a deep baking dish.

6Pour 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of tomato sauce and equal amount of water over cabbage rolls and simmer approximately 1 1/2 hours.

7This can also be baked, covered, in the oven at 375°.
