Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, browned
  • 1/2 c. rice, cooked
  • 1 can tomato sauce (large)
  • 1 large onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Mix rice, ground beef and onion.

    Steam cabbage in pot of hot water.

    Drain and gently remove leaves.
  4. 4
    Put tablespoon of mixture on leaf and roll.

    Place in casserole dish.

    Add tomato sauce and 1/2 cup water.

    (Use water that cabbage was steamed in.)

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
