- 4 eggs, seperated
- 75 grams all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 90 grams sugar
- 45 ml vegetable oil
- 50 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (if needed)
Directions

1Sift flour and baking powder together, several times.

2Set aside.

3Beat the egg whites until foamy, then add half of the sugar gradually until stiff peaks form.

4Add the remaining sugar into the egg yolks and beat until thick and creamy.

5Add vanilla extract.

6Add the oil and milk and mix until corporated, then do the same with the flour.

7Add the 1/3 of meringue into the egg yolk mixture and stir until combined.

8Fold in the rest of the meringue carefully so not to break the air bubbles until there are no visible streaks of white.

9The end product should be light and airy.

10Bake in preheated oven at 160C for 35 mins or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
