  • 3 cups chickpea flour
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 1/4 pint oil
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Mix the flour and salt with the water, cover and leave to stand for about 3 hours.

    pour the oil into a baking tray, or tin,(deep tray or tin) allowing sufficient to cover the bottom of the tin, and heat in the oven.

    beat the flour mixture and season.
  4. 4
    when thoroughly hot pour in the flour mixture and bake in a quick oven (reg 8) for about half an hour, or until a golden crust forms on top.
