  • 8 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Melt butter in large pan.

    Add rest of ingredients; bring to boil on low heat.

    Boil soft ball.

    Pour over corn and thoroughly mix.

    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 200° for about 20 minutes, stirring 2 or 3 times while baking.
