Ingredients

  • 16 c. popped popcorn, lightly salted
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions

    Mix all ingredients well (except popcorn and baking soda). Dissolve over low heat.

    Boil 5 minutes on medium heat.

    Remove from heat and add baking soda.

    Pour over popcorn and mix well. Put in oven at 250° for 30 minutes.

    Stif often.

    Pour onto cookie sheets and let cool.

    Store in airtight container.
